BioConnectEd Launched this fall, BioConnectEd is an educational initiative designed to connect the scientific community represented in BioConnect’s membership with educators in K-12 schools and undergraduate programs.  Activities include guest lectures, curriculum and experiment design, mentorship opportunities, and participation in special events (e.g., science fairs and career days)  by encouraging the participation of scientists in the classroom, the goal of building a strong biotechnology and life sciences community in the Charlotte region can be strengthened.
